When Keith was young, he used to play a ventriloquist's dummy and sit on his dad's knee, earning between them around 20 a weekend.
Appeared on BBC television from 1982 to 1990 with "The Keith Harris Show", featuring puppets such as Orville The Duck and Cuddles The Monkey.
Keith Harris and Orville had a massive hit single with "Orville's Song" which sold over 400,000 copies.

Dropped out of the public limelight in 1990 after their TV show ended.
Keith drives a Mercedes with the registration "ORV 1L".
Keith has recently been touring with Orville and Cuddles with a show aimed at adults called "Duck Off".
